Not the Ritz Carlton, but what do you expect?
We just stayed at Dallas West for a few days while helping our daughter move to the area. True, it's not much to look at, but the location can't be beat if you need to be near the downtown area, and everyone I encountered there was friendly and helpful. I'd prefer it if there were a manager on site 24/7, but that's far from being a deal breaker for us. As another reviewer points out, there are some older RV's on the property, but I wouldn't be so snobbish as to call them all 'junky.' Everyone can't be so fortunate as to afford to replace their older model. Also, upon seeing that the office is run by what appears to be a skeleton crew; instead of going online to grouse about seeing some black water, I'd consider mentioning it to the manager so it can be corrected. Overall, if you just need a place to stay near downtown, and you're not in need of luxuries or amenities, it's far from a bad choice./P
