The WORST place to get a cell phone / deal with period!
I had a BlackBerry Pearl 8100 that started having issues with the roller ball. With my factory warranty over and not wanting to be lured into signing a new contract in order to get a discount on a new phone. I opted to purchase a "remanufactured" unit from the Cell Phone Warehouse. They explained the 30 day return and warranty policy which I accepted. A day later my keyboard and screen began freezing up intermittently. I took it back it and they said they fixed it but the issue resurfaced a week later. This time I requested a replacement but they guaranteed the repair would work this time. About 8 days later the return, 1,2,3,5,8 and 0 keys stopped working and went back to the store which, by the way, is quite a distance from my home or work locations. This time I insisted on a replacement since I knew the warranty was about to expire. The same individual (Prem), that I had dealt with since day one flatly refused and, to add insult to injury, even declined to repair the phone at no cost. The clincher was when he said there was evidence of water damage which he couldn't point out himself. When I logically explained that was not possible, he then stated that since it is hot in Texas, I had sweated so profusely that my sweat had somehow soaked the phone damaging the motherboard!! What kind of BS is that!? He then said my only option was to purchase another used phone from him(yes he really thinks people are that stupid!) or pay him for the repair with a minimum charge of $45! What nonsense!! At this point I decided I had wasted enough tine and went with another vendor who not only offered their phones for less but gave me a 90 day warranty. These guys are scam artists out to make a quick dishonest buck. STAW AWAY!!!
